Dr. Wassermann
Dr. Paul Wassermann was the founding oncologist of Scottsdale Medical Specialists, joining the group in 1974. He is originally from Utah, graduating from Utah State University. He earned his medical degree from Cornell Medical College in 1969. He completed his residency and his Medical Oncology Fellowship at Presbyterian University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. In addition to his practice at Scottsdale Medical Specialists, Dr. Wassermann was the Chief of Hematology/Oncology at Maricopa County General Hospital from 1974 to 1977. He has continually been an active member of various state and county cancer organizations. Dr. Wassermann’s main areas of interest are Blood disorders, Myeloma, and Lymphomas. He is also an avid train collector, photographer, and a devoted family man.
