You are not a number! We take everything into consideration. Your first appointment includes a comprehensive evaluation that includes a comprehensive medical history, physical exam and lifestyle evaluation. This assists us in developing an individualized and specific cancer-risk assessment that helps determine the most effective treatment plan for you.
Following the completion of your assessment, you will have the opportunity to participate in a thorough, one-on-one education session which will promote strategies for your in-depth personal care that may include:
- Personalized screening tests to meet your particular needs.
- Individual tobacco cessation counseling – for patients who want to quit smoking.
- Referral to other specialists as needed.
- A teaching chemotherapy DVD narrated by one of our personal certified chemotherapy registered nurses, which includes many aspects of what to expect during and after chemotherapy treatments.
- Financial counseling is also available.
